Autobiographical Incident Narrative

My Family and I have been on many vacations. We go on one every summer and sometimes during winter break. My Brothers and Sister don’t live at home anymore , so its always nice to see them and spend time with them for a week. My favorite vacation ever was when we went to Las Vegas. The city was so cool and the Hotels were amazing. They are so big you could do runs around them. Inside they are huge. Each one is the size of our mall. The parks there were really cool too. We went to a couple of different ones. We usually went there to run but then after we would hike. My Brother, Kellen and I were like daredevils. We climbed up all of the mountains and cliffs. My brother Andy is a really good poker player. He says all of the other games are luck, excepts for Blackjack and poker. I would give him 5 dollars and tell him to double it. When I woke up the next morning he always doubled it. So, I gave him 10 dollars. He doubled it. This went on until I had 300 Dollars. It was so cool. I stopped unlike some people can when they gamble and just kept the 300 dollars . We also went to a car show at Ceasers Palace. That was very fun. I wish I could go back again. I am hoping to go there for my 21st birthday to gamble and play poker with my brother. Hopefully I will win. What I learned from this trip was spending time with your family is one of the best things in life and I will love every second I spend with them.

Suburban Sanctuary

A place that I think is relaxing and I can connect with myself is Bonnie Park in the Metro parks. This is where my cross country team has most of its practices. I find it really relaxing when I go on easy runs on the trails there. I can connect with myself on these trails when I’m running by myself. When I’m not by myself it’s still really relaxing because the trees changing colors and animals running across the trail right in front of you. There is also a water fall in the park. You can sit on the benches to relax and think. It’s a great place to have a picnic with your family. There are many picnic tables and one pavilion if you want to have a party or a meeting place. Sometime if you want to find a great place to relax and connect with yourself go to Bonnie Park.

Recipes

Double Chocolate Fudge
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. evap. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 t.salt
1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 t. vanilla
1 pkg semi-sweet choc. chips
1 pkg milk choc. chips

Combine: sugar, milk, butter and salt in a sauce pan. Bring to full, rolling boil over madium heat, stirring constantly
Boil 6 min more, stirring occassionally
Remove from heat, stur in marsh. nuts and van.
stir til melted and well blended
Take 2 c. hot mixture and add 1 c.
semi sweet chips. Stir til melted
and well blended. Pour into evenly greased 8" square pan
Add 1 cup milk choc. chips to remaining mixture
